An authentic Italian recipe and a welcome change to the predominantly acidic tomato sauce served in the States.

Dill is sprinkled on the strawberries and spinach before being tossed in a robust and sweet vinegar and oil dressing laced with hot mustard, onion and garlic powder, and a pinch of cayenne. For a final touch, a smidgen of sesame seeds are tossed into the bowl.

Bacon, shallots, onion and garlic, cooked in a thick creamy sauce, and tossed with fettuccini.
